Looks like you're using the original ibuscomm. Try this one on for size, it has many more options. Of particular interest, is the CdEmulation=True option, which makes the laptop pretend the CD changer is still connected. That is if you're disconnected the CD changer. Bear in mind that this version was designed around roadrunner, as opposed to winamp. It's the original version of ibuscomm, modified by cdrskull (from this forum) followed by darthtater (from the darkside) and then by me!
